Cartography! There is something extraordinary about any map. If you look across the carefully drawn roads and country sides it's possible to see history rolling forward or spreading from the centre. It's amazing to me how early in man's history he was semi-accurately able to work out the coastlines of the planet. So I'm deeply excited by
