Blog! Somehow I've missed that writer
Paul Cornell has a blog, and that he's
writing an episode of the BBC's new Doctor Who replacement Robin Hood. For the unitiated, Paul's one of the best writers that the
Doctor Who franchise ever had the luck to employ writing novels, audios and I'd say whose work had as big an influence on the new series as anyone. Wrote last year's episode
Father's Day too.
Can you strictly call them novels ? They're hardly Dickens, Hardy et al . . .
ReplyDeleteHave you read any of them? If not you really should 'Love & War' especially.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if a book is two hundred and fifty odd pages and narrative fiction with a beginning, middle and end, what would you call it? 'Novel' is a description of form rather than content surely.
