Film For Fantastic Four: First Steps. Where it all began. In August 2025, I had an overnight trip to Durham to see the First Folio on display in Crosin's Library (which you can read about here), Seeking an evening activity, I looked for a local cinema and found Durham's Odeon, located just around the corner from the hotel and watched FF:FS for a second time. This multiplex opened in May 2019 as a brand new six screen facility. This meant it operated for just under a year before the pandemic caused intermittent closures for another twelve months. Anyway I enjoyed the whole trip to Durham so much that I decided I wanted to see more of the country. Since Shakespeare First Folios are not in every town and cathedrals are mostly in main cities, I decided I'd work through the list of Odeons (on their website) and so here we are now. But of course, not having decided I was going to visit all of the Odeons yet, I didn't photograph the Durham outlet (its pictured here) so a shot of the Cathedral is provided instead.
