Deep breath.

About Well actually, this is essentially a test post because I've just migrated to nu-Blogger and I want to check that everything is hunky dory.
Update It's finished -- although it was touch and go for about an hour. It's not perfect, and I take Billy's point about the banner which will have to made longer and thinner so that it looks less muddy. But I do like the new tagging/labeling system and the archives look liberated somehow. Tomorrow I'll tell you about what I did today.

To us non geeks, what does that mean ;-)

  2. It means that there's a new version of my blogging software out and everyone is being forced to use it. As you can see by the template madness, everything is most definitely not fine. Give me an hour to sort this out.

i prefer the old layout, you cant view comments without leaving one which is strange? and why is there a wheelchair user next to the word verification box?

Carry on. After all, it will be time well spent !

  5. I preferred the old layout too -- but this'll do for now -- I managed to get rid of the some of the wierdness I think. All of the empty space is disconcerting though, and I can't work out how to get my logo to fill the top of the screen. Oh no, hold on I've got an idea.

Usually read you in my rss feed so I haven't seen the layout for a bit but I think it's better now, I like the white space! (and the banner always looked a bit messy when it was stretched.)
